Volga, Ia., Nov. 25 - Mr. and Mrs. Emmet Whittle, living east of Volga, mourn the loss of their baby, who died at an early hour Sunday morning. The funeral was held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at Sacred Heart church, Rev. D.P. Cregan officiating. Burial was made in the Sacred Heart cemetery. Father Gregan said the prayers at the graveside.

Elkader, Ia., Nov. 26 - Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Whittle, residing six miles southwest of here, mourn the loss of their baby daughter, aged seven months, who died Sunday morning. Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart church in Volga city Tuesday morning, Father D.P. Cregan officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery. She is survived by her parents and one brother.

We were all saddened to hear of the death of Rose Mary, little daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Whittle, who passed away Sunday morning after a number of weeks' illness, due to whooping cough.

Rosemary Lucille Whittle, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emmett Whittle, died at the home of her parents in Cox Creek township, Sunday morning, Nov. 25, of whooping cough, after an illness of only two weeks.

She was born April 28th, 1930, and leaves to mourn her early death, besides her parents, one brother, Ivan, and many relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Sunday at Volga City with the Rev. Father Cregan officiating. Burial was made in the cemetery at that place.

Those from far away who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John Whittle of Strawberry Point and Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Brenner of Clermont.
