Iowa Deaths:

Monona- Services for Gottlieb Zurcher, 93, of Farmersburg, were held Friday. Burial was in Farmersburg cemetery.

Dubuque Telegraph Herald, 17 Nov. 1950

Farmersburg- Services for Gottlieb Zurcher, 93, who died at his home here Tuesday, were scheduled for 1:45 p.m. Friday at the Schultz funeral home, and at 2 p.m. at the Evangelical church, Monona. The Rev. A. W. Eberts officiated. Burial was in the Farmersburg and Wagner cemetery.

Zurcher was vice president and member of the board of directors of the Farmersburg Savings bank at the time of his death.

Surviving are his wife, the former Christine Schiff; two sons, Emil and Ben; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
