Strawberry Point- Funeral services for Frank McCoy Way, 73, were here Tuesday; burial at Greeley; died Sunday at home in Strawberry Point after a long illness; born Sept. 26, 1877 at Edgewood, son of Richard McCoy and Virginia Smith Way; graduated from Edgewood high school and attended Drake university for one term; on Feb. 17, 1904, he married Alice Funk of Greeley and to this union were born three children, Paul Way, Colesburg; Mrs. Merwin Rolfe, Guttenberg, and Mrs. Wayne Martin, LaFayette, Ill.; on January 23, 1936, Mrs. Way died and on Oct. 7, 1937, Mr. Way married Mrs. Martha D_llessi (missing letter looks like an I); deceased lived the greater part of his life in the vicinity of Greeley, earning his living as a farmer and carpenter; moved to Strawberry Point six years ago; member of the Methodist church, and a Mason; leaves wife, three children and five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. C. T. Hird, and Mrs. Ray McCarthy, Dubuque, and a brother, Lee Way, of Edgewood.
