Iowa Deaths:

Strawberry Point- Mrs. Jesse Burrington, 41, died Thursday. Services Saturday in Strawberry Point Lutheran church.

Arlington- A number of relatives and friends attended the funeral of Mrs. Jesse Burrington at Strawberry Point Sunday. The deceased was a daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Burrington and sister-in-law of Mrs. George Bassett and Mrs. Melvin Gust of Arlington.

Mrs. Jesse Burington, 41, died Jan. 05 after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Jan. 07 at 1:15 at the home and at 2:00 at Emanuel Lutheran church with the Rev. S. J. Meyer officiating. Interment was made in the Strawberry Point cemetery.

Edna Friederike Wilhelmina Waterman was born Sept. 20, 1908, to Henry and Emma Waterman at Elkport. On Oct. 09, 1929, she was married to Jesse Burington at Elkport. They were farmers in Clayton county for the greater part of their married life, moving to Fayette county the past year. She attended the rural schools of the county and was a member of the Lutheran church.

Survivors include her husband and two sons, Eldo and Ronald of Strawberry Point; her mother, Mrs. Emma Waterman of Elkport; five sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Peter Amsden (Amanda), Mrs. Leon Fishel (Irma), and Mrs. Lloyd Hansel (Ida), all of Elkport, Mrs. Charles Schultz (Ernestine), and Mrs. Wm. Parkinson (Frieda), of Edgewood., Arnold, Lawrence and Alvin Waterman, all of Elkport. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry Waterman, and two brothers, Fred and Clarence.

Note added by S. Ferrall: She shares a gravestone with Jesse and his 2nd wife Bessie. The surname is spelled BURINGTON on the stone.
