Oelwein Daily Register, Sat., 18 Feb. 1950.

Elkader- Henry Oelke, 80, died at St. Olaf yesterday after suffering a stroke a year ago.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Masonic Hall in Farmersburg. The remains are at the Oelke Funeral Home here.

Oelke was formerly in the hotel and general store business in Farmersburg. He is survived by two sons, Lloyd of Garnavillo, and Leslie of Elkader; one daughter, Mrs. Elmer Bente of Elkader and one brother, A. H. Oelke of Monona.

Burial is in Farmersburg-Wagner cemetery
