Iowa Deaths:

Elkader- Glenn Hulverson, 36, died suddenly Thursday. Services, 2 p.m. Saturday in Norway Lutheran Church, Wagner township.

Funeral services for Glen Hulverson, 37, were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Norway Lutheran church in Wagner township, the Rev. S. J. Strandjord officiating. Burial was in the Norway cemetery.

Mr. Hulverson died suddenly of a heart attack at the home of his brother Helmer at Elkader at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Feb. 02.

Glen Edward Hulverson was born on a farm near St. Olaf Nov. 09, 1912, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nels Hulverson. He received his education in the rural schools near his home and was baptized and confirmed in the Norway Lutheran church. He was engaged in farm work until called to the service Feb. 07, 1945, in which he served until Dec. 15, 1946. After his discharge from the army he spent most of his time in Elkader and at the time of his death was employed at the Saur tavern.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nels Hulverson, St. Olaf; two brothers, Helmer of Elkader and Leland at home; also one nephew, Bobby Hulverson of Elkader. A brother, Theodore, preceded him in death in 1944.

Pallbearers were Lawrence Larson, Vallie Behrens, Alvin Koehn, David Walch, Robert Hulverson and Orvin Embretson.

Relatives from a distance who attended the services were Alber_ and Clifton Clauson of Waterloo, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Connors of Ossian.
