Elgin Echo, Thur., 20 April 1950.

Funeral services were held at Highland Lutheran Church April 11, for Albert R. Larson, 81, who died at his home in Highland township, April 8. He had been in failing health for several years.

Mr. Larson was born March 3, 1869, in Highland township. He was married June 20, 1896, to Margaret Larson, also of Highland township. To this union were born nine children, three of whom are deceased, Randdena and Melvin, who died in infancy and Lawrence, who grew to manhood. His wife preceded him in death March 5, 1950.

Surviving are Mrs. Isabelle Sarchet, of Lafayette, Ind., Philman and Paul, of Elgin, Mrs. Ronella Tieden, Glen and Harry, of Elkader.

Pallbearers were Louie Gregerson, Millard Olson, Chas Erickson, Norris Larson, Walter Butikofer and Harril Larson.
