Funeral services were held Friday, Nov 8 for Mrs. Leona Mueller at St. Peter Lutheran Church with the Rev. V. G. Sorensen officiating. Burial was at the Farmersburg Cemetery at National.

Pallbearers were Loraine Dettmann, Julius Dettman, Dale Dettman Arlyn Hempeler, Lendall Schievelbein and Leighton Bente.

Mrs. Mueller was born June 12, 1891, in Clayton County, the daughter of Julius and Melvina Hamann Dettman. She was united in marriage to Louis Muller in Farmersburg township. Mrs. Mueller died Tuesday, Nov. 5 at the Elkader hospital where she had been a patient for six weeks. She was 69 years of age.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Orville Zittergruen, Farmersburg and Mrs. Calvin Snyder, Los Alamitos, Calif.; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; three brothers, John Dettman, Monona, Alvin Dettman, Luana and Ed Dettman, Farmersburg, and two sisters, Mrs. Alvina Hempeler, Garnavillo and Mrs. Hilda Marting, Monona.
