Iowa Deaths:

Strawberry Point- Cyrus Carmicle (sic), 66, of Strawberry Point, died Tuesday in University Hospital, Iowa City.

Cyrus Carnicle, 66, of Strawberry Point, died last Tuesday at University hospital in Iowa City. Mr. Carnicle was born in Lodomillo township and spent the greater part of his life in this vicinity. He is survived by his wife, Ida Belle Carnicle; three daughters, Mrs. Wm. Nightengale and Mrs. Carol Hines of Strawberry Point and Mrs. Emmet Shaw of Edgewood; two sons, Howard and Donald of Strawberry Point.

Funeral services were held from the Gill chapel Thursday, with the Rev. B. H. Shaw officiating. Burial was in Ross cemetery at Cox Creek.
