Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edgar, North McGregor, have the sympathy of many friends in the loss of their 9-year old boy, Harrison, who was drowned while bathing in the river last Friday.

Drowned at McGregor.
McGregor, July 10.— Harrison Edgar, age nine years, was drowned while bathing in the Mississippi river last night. The body was rescued this morning.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows he was born Jan. 3, 1889 and died July 15, 1898. He is buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
