Garnavillo- Marvin J. Kainz, 91, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 30, 1998, in the Strawberry Point Lutheran Home after a long illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Garnavillo, by the Rev. Gary Hatchler. Burial will be at a later date in the Guttenberg City Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements with Leonard Funeral Home, Elkader.

There are no immediate survivors.
