Mrs. Henry Judy, Jr. died at her residence at Elkader, on Thursday, Nov. 1894.

Laura Doty was born in Highland twp., this county, April 12, 1861. She was married to Henry Judy, Jr., Oct. 19, 1892.

About that time with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Levi Doty, she came to Elkader to reside. Mrs. Doty died after a short residence here and Mr. Doty followed last spring.

For the past year the subject of our sketch has been slowly failing and suffering from tuberculosis, and death came finally as a welcome messenger.

Besides the husband, six brothers and six sisters, mourn her loss. The funeral took place on Friday last from the east side church, the services being conducted by Rev. Mr. Fisk.
