Guttenberg- A Minnesota man was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Highway 52 north of Guttenberg, officials said.

Chief Deputy Ryan Johnson of the Clayton County Sheriff's Office said Collin Schultz, 48, of Hampton, Minn., died after his car crossed the centerline into the path of a semi-trailer truck driven by Roger Frick, 57, of Waukon.

Johnson said Schultz had to be freed from the car and then was flown to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Frick was taken to the hospital for observation.

(NOTE: Colin T. Schultz is buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery.)
