Guttenberg- Bernette A. "Sis" Nuehring, 76, died Tuesday morning in her daughter's rural Garnavillo home following a long illness. Services: 2 p.m. Friday, St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home where there will be a wake service at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Survivors include a son, Ronald of Guttenberg; and six daughters, Geraldine Ameral of Lakeside, Calif., Lois Moser of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Judy Brandel of rural Garnavillo and Marlene McLane, Bonnie Sue Clinton and Mary Moser, all of Guttenberg.

Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
