Guttenberg- Kenneth Linn "Butch" Walters, 83, died Sunday morning, Oct. 3, 1993, in M. D. Anderson Hospital, Houston, Texas, after a lengthy illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home where a wake service begins at 8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Leona; two sons, Ronald of Guttenberg and Steve of Dubuque; three daughters, Sharon Troester and Sandra Gebhardt, both of Guttenberg, and Carol Smith of Dubuque; four brothers, Dale and Ted, both of Guttenberg, Layton of Garber and Bill of Colesburg; and three sisters, Freda Swanson of Michigan, Marjorie Peters of Cedar Rapids and April Finnegan of Guttenberg.

Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
