Guttenberg- Ruth A. Hoglund, 73, died Friday morning in Guttenberg Municipal Hospital after a brief illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, St. Mary's Catholic Church. Graveside services and burial: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Tuecke-Alyn Funeral Home, where a wake service begins at 8 p.m.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Fischer of Guttenberg; a son, Robert of Franklin, Maine; and three sisters, Lois Wharton and Renee Stramel, both of Cedar Rapids, and Milda Baker of Golden, Mo.

Also surviving are three grandchildren.
