Elkader- Maxine Green, 71, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999, in Central Community Hospital after a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona. Burial: Smithfield Cemetery, rural Luana. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, and from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.

Survivors include her husband, Lewis; and three daughters, Carol Schultz of Shell Rock, Joan Francis of Monona and Jean Walton of Chicago.
