Guttenberg- Irma V. Buechel, 87, of Des Moines, formerly of Guttenberg, died Friday in Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines. She was an accountant for Phillips Petroleum Co.

Surviving is one sister, Agnes Beutel, Guttenberg.

Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Tuecke-Allyn's, where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m. Monday. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Services Held for Guttenberg Native

Irma V. Buechel, 87, of Des Moines died Friday, Oct. 4, 1985 at 8 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Services were conducted by Rev. Paul Peters at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8, with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ronnie Baumhover, Walter Egleseder, Howard Egleseder, Mike Vorwald, Philip Eldridge and Bob Converse.

The scripture wake service Monday evening at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.

Miss Buechel was born in Guttenberg Dec. 21, 1897, a daughter of Henry and Sophia (Hasler) Buechel. She was employed as an accountant for Phillips Petroleum Co. before retirement. She was a member of the Jane Phillips Society and St. Ansgard Catholic Church in Des Moines. She had resided in Des Moines the past 55 years.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Agnes Beutel of Guttenberg; nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
