Mr. and Mrs. Kaiser for many years lived on a farm near National and a number of years ago moved to Monona. Mr. Kaiser was an honest upright man, an unusual neighbor, beloved by all. His friends were numbered by his acquaintences.
For many years was township assessor and was always honest and fair in all his dealings with his fellow men. The well kept grounds of the Kaiser home are marked by the beautiful hedges, orchards and garden, the result of the labors of Mr. Kaiser and his daughter Elsie.
He was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, ever faithful in attending services. Monona has lost a splendid citizen and the Kaiser children an unusual father. The sympathy of the community is extended the family.
