Monona, Ia. - J.F. William Kaiser, aged 82, died Friday morning at his home here. Surviving are 12 children. His wife and three children preceded him in death.

Those living are five daughters, Miss Else Kaiser and Mesdames F.G. Drahn and Carl G. Schulte, Monona; Werner Kishman, Luana, and the Rev. A. Hoferer, Winside, Neb., and seven sons, Arthur F., Arnold J., Ernest G., and Raymond A. Kaiser, Monona; Julius H. Kaiser, Kansas City, Mo.; Emil Kaiser, Larned, Kansas, and Edmund Kaiser, Sabula, Iowa.

MONONA: Funeral services for J. F.. Wm Kaiser, 81, who died Friday morning at his home here, were held Monday afternoon from home to the Evangelical Lutheran church, the Rev. A. Daugs officiating.

Mrs. Kaiser preceded him in death and three children died in infancy.

Surviving are twelve children, five daughters, Miss Elsie Kaiser, who faithfully cared for him at home, Mrs. F. G. Drahn of Froelich, Mrs. Werner Kishman of Luana, Mrs. Carl G. Schultz of Monona and Mrs. Rev. A. Hoferer of Winside, Neb., and seven sons, Julius H. Kaiser of Kansas City, Mo., Emil Kaiser of Larned, Kansas, Edmund Kaiser of Sabula, Iowa, Arthur F. Kaiser, Arno J. Kaiser, Ernest G. Kaiser and Raymond A. Kaiser of Monona.

Mr. and Mrs. Kaiser for many years lived on a farm near National and a number of years ago moved to Monona. Mr. Kaiser was an honest upright man, an unusual neighbor, beloved by all. His friends were numbered by his acquaintences.

For many years was township assessor and was always honest and fair in all his dealings with his fellow men. The well kept grounds of the Kaiser home are marked by the beautiful hedges, orchards and garden, the result of the labors of Mr. Kaiser and his daughter Elsie.

He was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran church, ever faithful in attending services. Monona has lost a splendid citizen and the Kaiser children an unusual father. The sympathy of the community is extended the family.
