Waterloo Courier, Tues., 24 July 1928.

Strawberry Point- Elmer Galer, 25 years old, son of Michael Galer, living seven miles north of Strawberry Point, died last night at 11 o'clock from injuries caused by an enraged bull Monday afternoon.

Mr. Galer had taken the bull from the barn to the water tank when the animal attacked and pinned the man against a cement wall. He was found by a younger brother.

Death resulted from internal injuries. Funeral services will be held at the Galer residence Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock.

NOTE: Burial in Mederville Cemetery.)
