Elkader- Mrs. Frances Nading, 70, Mederville, injured in a March 30 accident two miles south of Prairie du Chien (Wis.), died Wednesday in an Elkader hospital. She had suffered back and internal injuries.

Mrs. Nading was a passenger in a car driven by Glenn Miersen, 51, Elkport. The passenger side of the car was hit by an oncoming car when Miersen attempted a left turn. Two persons in the other car were also hospitalized after the Wisconsin crash.

Miersen was charged with drunk driving.

Mrs. Nading is survived by nine children including Calvin of Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Jean Parker of Garnavillo and Mrs. Robert Harbaugh of Littleport.

The body is at the Witt Funeral Home.
