Marquette- Katherine E. Dickey, 79, died Monday at the Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wis., from heart failure. She and her husband had owned and operated Dickey's Market for 35 years prior to their retirement in 1967.

Surviving are a son, William of Marquette; a daughter, Mrs. Bruce Beckel of Bloomington, Minn.; a sister, Marion Halton of Marquette; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services: 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, McGregor. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McGregor. Visitation is from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Thornburg's in McGregor, where there will be a rosary at 8.
