Froelich- Janet Ashline, 70, died Thursday in Prairie du Chien (Wis.) Memorial Hospital of cancer. She had worked for Advance Electronics at McGregor until she retired.

Surviving are two sons, Clifford Higgins of Hiawatha and LuVerne Barth of Eddyville; two daughters, Marian Buhr of Dallas, Texas, and Joneita Wagner of Monona; four brothers, Elbert Books of Strawberry Point, Guy Brooks of Volga, Dorr Brooks of DeRidder, La. and Ben Brooks of Sebring, Fla.; a sister, Zelma Stocks of Strawberry Point; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Giard Methodist Church, Giard. Burial: Taylorville Cemetery, Arlington. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Schultz's in Monona.
