Garber- John "Lowell" Minger, 80, died Friday afternoon, July 28, 1995, in Finley Hospital, Dubuque, after a brief illness. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Immanuel Lutheran Church, Elkport. Burial: Bethel Cemetery, rural Osterdock, with military rites. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg.

Survivors include his wife, Leila; five sons, Bruce of Dallas Center, Brian of Garber, Bradley of Fayette, Thomas of Des Moines and John of Plymouth, Minn.; two daughters, Patty Jo LePage of Elk River, Minn. and Penny VanaCoy of Elkader; and two sisters, Lillian Manson of Waterloo and Viola Stemmer of Elkader.
