PUGH, MCLANE, TARBOX, HALEY

Strawberry Point, Ia., Jan. 14 - Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Pugh were held at the M.E. church Wednesday morning, conducted by the Rev. T.J. Elwick. The pallbearers were Gerald Pugh, Vincent Pugh, Jerome Pugh, Glen Pugh, Dell Comner and Nat Scovel of Arlington. Interment was made in the Noble cemetery.

Mrs. Pugh, nee, Miss Elizabeth Ann McLane, was born in 1850 at Greeley, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McLane. Her death occurred at her home Monday morning.

When four years old she moved with her parents to Clayton county where she had since resided. In 1873 she was married to Morris Pugh, who died in 1895.

She is survived by two sons, Oren, Strawberry Point, and Clarence on the old homestead; one brother, Perry, Manchester; two sisters, Mrs. Dora Tarbox, Laramie, Wy., and Mrs. Flora Haley, Duluth, Minn.; also four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
