Monona- Funeral services for Arno Kaiser, 60, who died at his home here Wednesday after an illness of several months, were conducted Saturday afternoon at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church by the Rev. R. C. Schlueter, pastor. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery.
Mr. Kaiser, a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Kaiser, was born on a farm near National, Ia., on June 26, 1884.
He was married to Amanda Kruse at Monona on Dec. 20, 1906. The couple made their home on a farm east of Monona for six years. In October, 1912, they moved to Monona, where Mr. Kaiser was a partner in the English-Kaiser drug store. For the past 29 years he has been a painter and decorator.
Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Earle Hillman, Calmar, Ia., Mrs. Edward Cordes, Monona, Mrs. Howard Belden, San Diego, Calif.; four grandchildren; six brothers, and five sisters.

Mrs. Howard Belden left Monona, Iowa, Wednesday to rejoin her husband at San Diego, Calif. Mrs. Belden was called home about seven weeks ago to assist in the care of her father, Arno Kaiser, at Monona. Her father passed away Wednesday, March 29, and funeral services were held Saturday, April 1. Mrs. Belden was a teacher in the local school prior to her marriage. She visited several days in the F. L. Belden home here while at Monona.
