Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Doerring and Mrs. Mary Knuth, with several other relatives and friends from this locality, attended the funeral of their brother, John Garms, at Monona on Monday afternoon.

Funeral services for John C. Garms were held Monday afternoon at 1:45 from the house and 2:00 from the Evangelical Lutheran church, with burial in the Lutheran cemetery. Mr. Garms had been in poor health since last fall, and died Thursday night at his home here.
Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. John C. Garms, two daughters, Mrs. Robert Waskow and Mrs. Alfred C. David, and three sons, Rudolph A. Garms, Walter J. Garms and Robert Garms.
Mr. Garms was a good citizen, a kind and loving husband and a good neighbor, a faithful member of his church, and Monona has lost a good citizen. The community sympathizes with the widow and children.
