Guttenberg- Herman F. Ihm, 84, retired Iowa State Commerce Commission employee, died Monday morning in the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital following a short illness.

Survivors include his wife, Lenchen; a daughter, Sharlotte Nugent of Marion; a son, Joseph of Guttenberg; a brother, Robert of Hastings, Neb.; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Mary's Catholic Church. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn's, where a wake service will be held at 7:30 tonight. Burial: Guttenberg City Cemetery.
