A. F. Greenwaldt, 77, of Coon Rapids died shortly after noon today in the St. Anthony Hospital here where he had been brought earlier in the week for treatment.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Greenwaldt is survived by a son, C. W. Greenwaldt, of Minneapolis, Minn., and a daughter, Mrs. James Wilson (Ruth), of San Antonio, Tex. He also has a brother, A. W. Greenwaldt, in Sioux City.

Mr. Greenwaldt was born in Guttenberg, Ia., Feb. 6, 1864. He came to Carroll county in 1904 after living in Audubon county for some time. He went first to Manning and later to Coon Rapids, where he was in the banking business. Prior to this he farmed in Cherokee county, leaving the farm in 1895 the year of his marriage to Matilda Prior.
