Oelwein Daily Register, 6 Apr. 1967.

Elkader- Mrs. Mary Welch Johnson, 85, Littleport, died Apr. 3 at the home of her daughter Mrs. Elmer Ashline, Littleport.

Funeral was Wednesday, April 5 in Witt Funeral Home with burial in Union cemetery at Littleport.

Survived by three children, Mrs. Elmer Ashline, Mrs. Melvin (Jennie) Jencks, Oelwein; and Alva Johnson, Cedar Rapids; 1 brother, 2 sisters, 6 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
