Elkader- Funeral services were held at 1 a.m. today for Frank Farrell, who died Sunday morning at his farm about 5 miles west of here after a heart attack at about 4 p.m. Saturday in Volga, at St. Joseph's church. He was 73.
Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery. Farrell, who was born and raised here, is survived by his wife and seven children, Margaret, Elkader; Agnes, who is studying nursing at Rochester, Minn.; Estelle, a senior at Iowa State Teachers, Cedar Falls, and Dorothy, at home, and three sons, Ray at home, Frank of Davenport and James, Cedar Rapids.
He is also survived by one brother, Ed, at whose home in Volga he suffered the heart attack, and three sisters, Julia Farrell, Elkader; Mrs. Mary Ecker, West Union and Mrs. Stella Eager of Mitchell, S.D.
