Guttenberg- Georgia A. Downey, 80, died Monday, Jan. 24, 2000, in Mercy Health Center, Dubuque, after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Guttenberg, by Father Richard Gaul. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery, Elkader. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, where a wake service begins at 4 p.m.

Survivors include a son, Dennis of Dubuque; a daughter, Karolyn of Guttenberg; a sister, Florence Meehan of Anamosa; and three brothers, Arnold Walz of Monona, Edward Walz of Elkader and Norbert Walz of Farmersburg.
