Elkader- Peter Vincent Dougherty, 99, died Friday, Dec. 18, 1998, in Central Community Hospital, Elkader, after a lengthy illness. Services: Monday, 10:30 a.m., St Joseph's Catholic Church, Elkader, by the Rev. Paul Peters. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at Leonard Funeral Home, Elkader, where a Scripture service begins at 4:30 p.m.

Survivors include his children, Jean Fassbinder of Postville, Bernard of Owatonna, Minn., Darlene Dittmer and Delores Mangan, both of Elkader, Jerry of Farmersburg, Janice Hanson of Cedar Rapids, Jeanette Prideaux of Marion, Jim of Des Moines and Patricia Minihan of Canton, S.D.
