At the family residence near Elkport, on Friday Feb. 3rd, 1905, occurred the death of Mrs. Margarette, wife of Michael L. McMorrow, of paralysis, at the age of 69 years.
Deceased was born in County Mahon, Ireland, in 1836. She came to this country in 1853, living for a time in Boston, Mass. In 1839 (sic- date typed as in obit..sf) at Guttenberg, she was united in marriage with Mr. McMorrow. To them were born eight children, two of these, Theresa and Samuel, preceeded her in death. The six surviving are Mrs. Annie Flynn, of Colesburg; Attorney J.C. McMorrow, of Denver, Col.; Mrs. Maggie Hall, and Mary, Alice and Josephine at Elkport. All of these were enabled to be present at the last sad rites of burial.
Deceased was a much beloved wife, a kind and affectionate mother and highly esteemed by many friends. Our sympathy goes out to the surviving husband and children.
