McGregor-- Judith A. Teaser, 58, of McGregor and Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Dubuque, died Thursday, 18 May 2000, in her home after a long illness. Services: First Congregational Church, McGregor. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home, McGregor, in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, James; 2 sons Kevin (Nancy) Koethe of West Des Moines and Robert Koethe of Urbandale; 2 step-daughters, Sue (Eric) Anderson of Gwinn, Mich., and Robin (Stan) Roush of Onalaska, Wis.; 2 sisters, Joyce (Ken) Voss of Dubuque and Becky (Jim) March of Paxton, Ill.; 3 brothers, Jim (Charlotte) Weitz and Ron (Geri) Weitz, both of Dubuque, and John Weitz of San Diego; 7 grandchildren; and 3 step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janice Weitz.

She was born 6 Sept. 1941, to Robert J. and Janet B. Kaune Weitz; was married to James Teaser at St. Mary's Church in McGregor on 19 April 1994; had been employed by the Dubuque Inn, DuTrac Credit Union, and most recently by Younkers, all in Dubuque, before retiring to McGregor in 1994. She was a member of First Congregational Church and the MUMYBC in McGregor and Theta Master Beta Sigma sorority of Dubuque. She enjoyed boating, traveling, visiting family and friends, and her roses.

Judy was greatly loved by many because of all the love she gave.
