Garnavillo-- Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Dickman, 83, who died at her home here early Sunday morning, were held at St. Paul's Church on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Dickman had been in ill health for several years.

Fredericka Dickman was born Jan. 4, 1867, on a farm near Elkport, the daughter of Henry and Mary Theis Brandtman. On Dec. 20, 1892, she was married to Henry W. Dickman. They made their home on a farm in Garnavillo Township. In May of 1922 they retired from active farm life and moved to Garnavillo, where her husband preceded her in death Feb. 21, 1926.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lorenz Casten of Postville; 6 sons, Eldo, William, George, Elmer and Henry of Garnavillo, and Edwin of Postville; a sister, Mrs. Herman Mueller of Long Beach, Calif.; a brother, Charles Brandtman of Dubuque. One son, Arno, preceded her in death.

Mr. and Mrs. Lorenz Casten and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dickman and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Bareis, attended from here. The latter lady was a niece of Mrs. Dickman.
