Oelwein Daily Register, Tue., 9 June 1970.

Elkader-- Funeral services were held this morning (Monday) for Verna O'Connor, longtime Elkader resident. She died June 5 at the Guttenberg Hospital.

She served as Clayton Co. recorder from 1932-38 and was formerly in the abstract business in Elkader. She served as a correspondent for the REGISTER many years before retiring in 1964.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. William Zittergruen, Garber.
