Monona-- Raymond C. Schaefers, 68, died Friday, Oct. 4, 1996, in Prairie Memorial Hospital, Prairie du Chien, Ill. (Wis. ?), after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Monona, Burial: St. Mary's Cemetery, McGregor. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Schultz's Funeral Home, Monona, where a rosary begins at 7:30 p.m.

Survivors include a brother, Leo of McGregor; and five sisters, Anna Mae and Lucille Schaefers, both of McGregor, Helen Schaefers of Dubuque, Bernice Schaefers of Monona and Irene Petsche of St. Olaf.
