Garnavillo-- Carol L. Troester, 21, who had been missing since Sept. 15, was found Monday in the Mississippi River near Marquette. She apparently drowned after falling off a houseboat in the river. She was a waitress at the Pink Elephant Supper Club in Marquette and was also a tour guide at Spook Cave Resort.
Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. LaVern R. Troester of Garnavillo; four brothers, LeAllen of Phoenix, Ariz., and Leland, Larry and Lance, all of Garnavillo; paternal grandmother, Zala Troester of Garnavillo; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leander Stroschein of Garnavillo.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with private burial in the church cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by Tuecke-Allyn's.
