Martha Heins, 97, of Postville, formerly of Luana, died Friday morning, Jan. 28, 2005, in the Good Samaritan Center, Postville, after a brief illness.

Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. John Lutheran Church, Luana, by the Rev. Christopher Staley. Burial: Postville Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Schutte Funeral Home and one hour before services Monday at the church.

Survivors include two sons, Hilery (Joyce) Heins of Postville and Fred (Rose Marie) Heins of Cedar Falls; a daughter, Arleta (Willard) Holien of Ossian; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
