Former North Iowa GI Loses Life in Belgium.

Spillville-- Word reached the Andera family that Cpl. Allen Singer lost his life in Belgium Jan. 7.

His wife, the former Henrietta Fisher, R.N., is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fisher, former residents of Spillville, now of Garnavillo.

Allen is survived by his wife and 2 small children living in California.
