Garnavillo-- Leo Joseph DeSotel, 88, died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1996, in the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital after a short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church, by the Rev. Richard Gaul. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo.

Survivors include two daughters, Lois Burr of Cedar Rapids and Margaret DeSotel of Freeport, Ill.; a son, Robert; and two brothers, George of Latimer and Mark of Luxemburg.
