Elkader-- Lucian L. Donolon, 86, a retired farmer, died Friday morning in Central Community Hospital after a short illness.

Survivors include his wife, Cecil; two sons, Joe of Luana and Luke of Elkader; two daughters, Amy Lou Updegraff and Betty Ann Diebel, both of Des Moines; a sister, Amy Jo McDonnell of Charles City; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at Leonard-Witt's where a Scripture service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday.
