Elkader-- George Cassutt, 64, was found dead in his farm home 2 miles north of here Wednesday.

He lived with a nephew, Raymond Cassutt. Raymond Cassutt said when his uncle failed to come to the barn to help with chores as he usually did, he went to his bedroom and found him fully dressed and in a kneeling position near the bed. Cause of death was listed as a heart attack.

A member of the Boardman township board of trustees for many years, he is survived by a brother, Leo, of Elkader, and a sister, Francis, of San Diego.

Services will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic church. Rosary will be recited Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m. at Witt funeral home.

George Cassutt is buried in St. Joseph's - Elkader Cemetery.
