Elaine A. Troester, 59, died Friday morning, Aug. 19, 1994, in Mercy Heath Center, Dubuque, after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. The Rev. Richard Gaul will officiate. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Darnavillo, where a wake service begins at 7:30.

Survivors include her husband, La Vern R.; four sons, LeAllen of Rochester, Minn, Leland of Luxemburg, and Larry and Lace of Garnavillo; her parents, Mr.and Mrs. "Tommy" Strochein of Garnavillo; and three sisters, Karen Shaw of Arlington, Marion Moses of Garnavillo and Judy Wright of Toddville.
