Leo J. Berns, 92, retired farmer, died Wednesday morning in Postville Community Hospital following a long illness.
He is survived by two sisters, Rosa Hinsenbrock of West Union and Frances Keppler of Cottage Grove, Ore.
Services: 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Garnavillo, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn's, where a wake service will be conducted at 8 p.m.
