Guttenberg, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Barnhart, 61, were held Sunday afternoon, with the Rev. William Domres, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial was made in Brown Cemetery, Colesburg.
Mrs. Barnhart died at her home here early Friday morning, following a lingering illness.
As Bertha Elvina Kottke, the daughter of August and Mary Voss Kottke, she was born June 11, 1883, in Clayton County. On Oct. 26, 1903, she was married to Charles Barnhart, who survives her.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Roy Butters, of Guttenberg, Mrs. Harold Grimes, of Colesburg, Mrs. Bernard Stoeffler, of Guttenberg and several grandchildren.
