SCHUG, VIEROW, PUFFETT, ASMUS

Strawberry Point, Herman C. Schug, 24, died Sunday at University Hospital, Iowa City. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schug, born near Strawberry Point, July 23, 1919.

On Dec. 27, 1940, he was married at Oelwein to Norma Vierow. They farmed about five miles west of here.

Survivors include the widow, two sons, Merwyn and Kenneth; his parents; a brother, Donald, all of Strawberry Point; a sister, Mrs. John Puffett, of Dundee, and his grandmother, Mrs. Charles Schug, and his grandfather, Gustav Asmus.

Funeral services were held at Emanuel Lutheran Church Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in the Strawberry Point Cemetery.
