Elkader, Ia. - funeral services were held here for Donald Lawrence Hart, 44, who died in Minneapolis, where he had been employed. The services were conducted by the Rev. N.O. Bartholomew and burial was in the East Side Cemetery.
Mr. Hart was born in Waukon. He is survived by his father, Charles W. Hart of Fayette; two brothers, Everett of Perry and Francis of Waterloo; and three sisters, Mrs. Donna Mae Thein and Mrs. Marjorie Trygg, both of McGregor, and Mrs. Mildred Hawks of Marion.

Donald Lawrence Hart, who died in Minneapolis, Minn., Dec. 29, was brought to Elkader for burial. Elkader was the former home of his father, Charles W. Hart.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Oelke mortuary with the Rev. Noyes O. Bartholomew officiating. Mrs. R. L. Morse sang two numbers, accompanied by Mrs. G. H. Wilke.
The deceased was a nephew of Mrs. Kate Barthel of this place. He was born in Waukon and was in his 44th year at the time of his death. His father, Charles W. Hart, lives in Fayette and at one time was manager of the local creamery.
Donald was never married but there survive, besides his father, two brothers, Everett of Perry, and Francis of Waterloo, and three sisters, Mrs. Donna Mae Thein, McGregor; Mrs. Marjorie Trygg, McGregor, and Mrs. Mildred Hawke of Marion.
