Stanley Henry Friedlein of McGregor, Iowa died on Sunday, January 9, 2005, as a result of injuries sustained in a tractor rollover accident in McGregor. He was 50 years old. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 15, at First Lutheran Church, rural McGregor with burial in the church cemetery. Thornburg-Hanson Funeral home in McGregor is in charge of the arrangements.

Stanley was born on September 24, 1954 to Floyd and Lorna (Schlitter) Friedlein in McGregor, Iowa. He graduated from Mar-Mac High School. On October 14, 1978, he married Donna Kregel. They were the parents of three daughters. Stan and Donna later divorced. Stan worked at construction for Liberty Builders in McGregor. On August 12, 2000, he was united in marriage to Vicki Wetch in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He enjoyed hobby farming and was a collector of anything John Deere.He also did repairs on John Deere tractors.

Surviving are his wife, Vicki; three daughters, Prema Friedlein of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, Tasha Friedlein and friend Ben Schultz, and Sabrina Friedlein of McGregor; step-son Aaron Wetch of Mesa, Arizona; his mother, Lorna Friedlein of Monona; two brothers Roger and his wife Janet Friedlein of McGregor and Alan and his wife Cathy Friedlein of Monona, Iowa.
